Decided to pay a visit while in the area. It's a delicious stop to treat yourself during hot days. The attendant was quite helpful enough to verify the ingredients for the waffle bowl. He verified that it only had wheat/ vegan safe. My child decides to shape her 3 scoop mango sorbet into a mango. Clever idea!

This place has the best ice cream in town! Great selection and different kinds of cones! I highly recommend the black cherry or the Taro flavored ice cream with a waffle cone. The great thing is that they also offer an ice cream for dogs too, so it is dog clothes friendly. The staff has always polite, even if you get there five minutes before closing. This is the only ice cream Im willing to spend money on these days. It's also in a really nice neighborhood shopping center that is well lit, and makes me feel safe to go to late at night (they close at 11pm in the summer). Go check this place out, I promise you wont regret it.

Handel’s has quickly become our family’s new favorite ice cream spot! What really sets them apart is the value. A single scoop at Baskin Robbin’s cost around $5, but at Handel’s, a small is only about $5.75 and comes with roughly 2½ scoops of ice cream. We almost always order online before we leave home. When we arrive, we simply walk up to the pickup window, grab our order, and go. It’s fast, easy, and lets us skip the line, which says a lot because there’s usually one. You know the ice cream is good when people are willing to wait for it! There isn’t any seating at the shop, but that hasn’t stopped us from making it a favorite. We usually hop back in our Tesla, crank up the A/C, put on a movie, and enjoy our ice cream together. It’s become one of our favorite little family traditions. Delicious ice cream, generous portions, great value, and worth every visit. Handel’s Riverside has definitely earned five stars from our family!

Handles is my favorite Ice cream spot because of their portions and flavors. I went in this time for my usual small and I got a singular scoop for $5.75. Anyone who knows the portion sizes knows this is nothing compared to how it is supposed to look like. I’m genuinely so upset and disappointed because I waited in this long line for one chunk of brownie in my monkey business ice cream

I’ve ordered from Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream several times in the past and it used to be one of my favorite dessert spots, which is why this recent order was so disappointing. My DoorDash order arrived with almost every waffle cone broken and the ice cream already melted. The bag was messy and poorly packed, showing a lack of care in preparation for delivery. For the prices, I expected much better packaging and consistency, especially for delivery orders. Unfortunately, this experience makes me question the recent quality at this location.
